Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to present the next edition of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Emergency Medicine Meeting, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in the city of Bilbao. For this special occasion, we have designed a renewed, attractive, and innovative format, with the aim of fostering active participation and high-level scientific discussion.

The program structure will focus on the research papers submitted by the participants, promoting a dynamic and collaborative approach. Instead of traditional lectures, the spotlight will be on selected oral communications and an interactive poster session, moderated by experts who will facilitate dialogue and the exchange of ideas.

We will feature two tables of long oral communications in the classic format and three additional tables with interactive moderation, focusing on topics of special interest: the implementation of initiatives for improving healthcare quality, professional training and competency acquisition, and the impact of artificial intelligence and other new technologies in pediatric emergency medicine.

Furthermore, a reduced number of short oral communications will be included compared to previous editions, to allow for a more reflective space for discussion.

We want to give greater prominence to the poster session. To this end, approximately 200 outstanding works will be selected for presentation. SEUP members with relevance in research will participate, promoting discussion and direct interaction with the researchers. The rest of the accepted papers will be exhibited in electronic format, ensuring the visibility and dissemination of the broad scientific output that characterizes our society.

We are confident that this new format will contribute to enriching the exchange of knowledge, strengthening the scientific community, and consolidating SEUP’s commitment to excellence in urgent pediatric care.

Finally, we hope to count on your presence at this next edition of the SEUP Annual Meeting, a well-established gathering in the pediatric scientific program in Spain, which annually brings together around 700 scientific papers and 900 congress attendees.
